FIRESIDE by Nikki, JD/Lost Dog on Buckingham Parish Church Green

Get ready to experience a family friendly, acrobatic, outdoor performance about monsters, with real fire this October half term!

Buckinghamshire Culture presents Fireside STORIES in celebration of Bucks’ outstanding landscapes, spaces and places, with a series of outdoor events in three very different locations across Bucks. Fireside is an outdoor performance by circus and theatre artists Nikki & JD and Lost Dog telling a story of monsters inspired by Britain’s oldest epic story, Beowulf.

Fireside is coming to Buckingham on 28th October 2024, with storytelling by Anna Walker from 5.30pm and the Fireside performance taking place from 6pm to 7.30pm. This event is funded by Buckinghamshire Culture, Arts Council England, Rothschild Foundation, and Buckinghamshire Council. Reserve your free ticket here.

Eckhard Thiemann, Buckinghamshire Culture’s Creative Associate said that “Sitting around a fire is how it all stared: We gather, listen and tell each other stories. Nikki & JD's spectacular acrobatic feats, infectious humour and a good dose of suspense will brighten up the darker nights of this autumn. Fireside is a real family treat.”
