Chandos Park

The beautiful and green Chandos Park sits at the very centre of Buckingham – accessible from Chandos Road, Ford Street and the University of Buckingham footbridge. At the heart of Chandos park is the river Great Ouse and the flat land and low level water makes it a great location for a picnic. For a longer trip cross the bridge to visit the Flosh and access the Railway Walk. The surrounding area was once industrial, with the Mill, tanneries and a railway station all very close by. The park itself was always leisure space, with the Bowls Club started by a local dairy factory.
